 | Smudge Sticks
Our Smudge sticks are made in New Mexico by a Native American Co-operative. They are made from the powerful Taos Sage, renowned for its purification and protective properties. This is usually combined with one or more special sacred herbs also known for their cleansing & soothing effects.
All our smudge sticks are 'wild crafted', which means their ingredients have all been collected when in season and therefore at their most powerful.
The traditional act of smudging is used to clear spaces from unwanted negativity - it is also great fun & an all-round soothing experience.
Simply light the tapered end of the smudge stick until it flames. Then blow out the flame & gently blow on the embers to create a core of heat. Now you can 'smudge' your home / office - or even yourself - by swirling the sweet scented and restorative aromas around you. In this way you can completely change the feelings you get from a space; filling it with positivity and possibility.
You can easily put it out by tipping the glowing end under running cold water. To dry, place in the sun or on top of a radiator - so it can be used again and again.
